First Post Ever!

Welcome to The Freyed Knot! I have been reading others' blogs for the past 9 months, and finally decided to give in and create my own. I started out reading Kelly's Korner when Harper was first born, and my infatuation with blogging snowballed from there. I think blogging is such a neat & contemporary way to document your family's life. Did you know that you can make a book out of your blog? That is definitely something I plan to do someday!

I've spent a lot of time designing my blog, although it still needs a lot of work. You can spend hours on here...especially when you don't know what you're doing. :) I think I'm just going to have to learn as I go. I've given a lot of thought to my first post. I've thought a lot about what I wanted to say and I decided that I didn't want to skip over the past 6 months of Madison's life. Since I'm just now starting to blog, I've missed out on posting so much. So...I've decided to do a recap-a glimpse of Madison's past 6 months. Here we go!

Madison Grace was born on February 19, 2009 at 10:33 a.m. She weighed 6 lbs, 11 oz, and measured 19 1/4 inches long.
